Friends Meeting House
Cath will reflect on Ellesmere Port from its creation as the terminus of the Ellesmere Canal at its junction with the Manchester Ship Canal through to the success of the Ellesmere Port Boat Museum, which opened 40 years ago in June 1976.
The talk will be given at the Friends Meeting House, 6 Mount Street, Manchester, M2 5NS. The venue is behind the Central Library and a short walk from St Peters Square tram stop.
